Quality and sustainability at the service of the pallet industry
For us at METALI, looking to the future means planning the company’s investments and growth with a view to sustainability, investing in renewable energy and recycled raw materials.
Sustainability
We have installed a 580 kW photovoltaic system at our headquarters in Zero Branco (TV) with the aim of self-producing most of our energy needs, up to 100% during the hottest periods. With an estimated annual production of 750,000 kWh, it also saves 350 tonnes of CO2.
Recycled materials
The raw materials used by METALI (wire rod and wire) are characterised by high levels of recycled material. We favour suppliers who can certify the origin of the material and its environmental impact, including through certified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). With reference to 2024 procurement, the average recycled content in the raw materials used (100% of Italian origin) was found to be over 90%.
